The Govt says the extremely transmittable fown flu popular illness also known as bird flu has distribute to five more declares asides Lagos and Kaduna where the first situations were documented in Nigeria.
The declares with the newest situations of the illness in chicken creatures consist of Ogun, Delta, Waterways, Edo and plateau declares.
Speaking at a media meeting nowadays in Abuja, the Reverend of Farming, Akinwunmi Adeshina said 15 professional plants and 9 stay bird Marketplaces have been suffering from the illness in the five declares.
He mentioned that the illness has not achieved an outbreak condition in Nigeria and that everything is being done to contain its distribute in the nation.
“We are not in a condition of any outbreak. Seven declares have so far revealed situations of the bird flu – Kano, Lagos, Ogun, Delta, Waterways, Edo and Level States.
The most impacted condition has been Kano, where the preliminary situation of the bird flu was discovered. In all of these declares, different stages of treatments, such as depopulation, purification and isolate are currently continuous.”
