The Manager, National Programme on Immunisation in the Kafin-Hausa Local Government Area of Jigawa, Alhaji Abdullahi Sarawa, said that, there are targeting more than 80,000 children for vaccination against polio in the ongoing immunisation programme, this he said in his speech on saturday, jan. 2015 as is especting the programme as the inspector The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the January round of immunisation kicked off on Saturday in the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.
Sarawa said that the National Primary Health Care Development Agency had supplied 89,000 doses of Oral Polio Vaccines for the smooth conduct of the exercise in the area and further explained that some 253 health personnel were deployed to the 11 wards in the area for the exercise.
